Job details
Job Purpose:
To provide health services to employees, prevent work-related illness/injury, and promote overall occupational health.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee health assessments and screenings
- Manage workplace injuries and medical emergencies
- Maintain health records and documentation (confidential)
- Develop and deliver health promotion programs
- Monitor and report workplace hazards and incidents
- Administer vaccines, first aid, and medications as needed
- Support compliance with OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with management on wellness initiatives
- Provide counseling and referrals for mental health and other concerns
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Knowledge of occupational health regulations (OSHA, ADA, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
