Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary
IMH Products is seeking an experienced Steel Forming Press Brake Operator for our 2nd shift operation in Addison, IL. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC and/or manual press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in precision metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation
- Load, align, and secure punches and dies.
- Set up and operate press brake machines to perform bends ranging from simple folds to complex configurations.

- Enter, edit, and verify bend angles, dimensions, material types, and sequences using CNC controllers.

Blueprint & Technical Reading
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine specifications, tolerances, and bend sequences.

Quality Inspection
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and gauges.
- Ensure all parts meet engineering and quality standards.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements & Skills

Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC or hydraulic press brakes (e.g., Amada, Cincinnati).

- Strong ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances.

Material Knowledge
- Knowledge of metal properties including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
