Machine Operator with Forklift Experience

Locations:

  • Camden, NY

  • Jordan, NY

  • Cazenovia, NY

  • Canastota, NY
    (Available openings vary by location depending on customer needs)

Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple shifts available
Training: 12 to 16 Week Structured Training Program on 1st Shift (6am to 4pm or 7am to 3:30pm, depending on location)

Available Shifts

Camden and Jordan Plant:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Rate of pay is $20 training, $20.50 qualified + the $1.50 differential for off shifts.

Cazenovia Plant:

  • 3rd Shift: Friday through Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (36 hours, get paid for 40 hours)

  • Rate of pay is $18.50 training$19.50 qualified rate.

Position Overview

Seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators and Forklift Operators to join our production team. In this role, you’ll operate manufacturing equipment, handle materials, and ensure quality and efficiency standards are met in a fast-paced industrial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery

  • Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment as needed

  • Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods

  • Perform quality checks and document production results

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Safety & Dress Code

  • PPE Provided: Safety glasses, hearing protection

  • Employee Must Provide: Steel-toe boots

  • No loose clothing, no hooded sweatshirts

  • Jeans and t-shirt recommended

  • Steel-toe footwear required at all times

Training

  • 12–16 weeks of structured, hands-on training

  • Ongoing support to ensure long-term success

  • Opportunity for skill development and advancement

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous machine operation or forklift experience preferred

  • Strong attendance and reliability

  • Commitment to workplace safety

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Safety-focused individuals; willing to train candidates with relevant work experience
