Important Note:
Workers selected for this role are not permitted to have any driving responsibilities for the entire assignment.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Utilize EPJ, High Reach, or OP equipment (experience required).
- Must wear work boots/steel toe shoes at all times.
- Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.
- Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles (no driving required).
- Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS or LTL.
- Process paperwork for shipments: verify merchandise, apply correct postage, complete BOL for LTL, follow shipping instructions, and insure shipments if needed.
- Gather and verify assembled orders in carts; count and record total merchandise.
- Pack orders into containers and arrange according to truck route.
- Verify shipment quantities and items against invoice.
- Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Use scanner for Warehouse Management System operations: picking orders and put-away of materials after receipt.
Qualifications & Requirements
- General knowledge of electrical products.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
- Effective communication skills with co-workers to satisfy customer requirements.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Work Environment: Onsite, warehouse setting.
