Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Worker
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Hazelwood, MO


Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Shipping & Receiving Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, including proven reach truck operation. This position is responsible for efficiently managing inventory, processing shipments and receipts, and supporting overall warehouse organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively

  • Accurately manage inventory, including tracking, counting, and organizing stock

  • Execute shipping and receiving procedures: pack, label, verify, and document incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading and freight paperwork

  • Record shipment and receipt data in warehouse management systems (WMS) with a high level of accuracy

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have reach truck experience (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse or distribution experience (required)

  • Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment

  • Solid knowledge of inventory management best practices

  • Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures, packing, and documentation

  • Computer literacy, including experience with WMS (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems)

  • Demonstrated data entry accuracy and attention to detail

  • Basic math skills for counting, verifying weights, and measuring quantities

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attendance and work ethic

Preferred:

  • Prior dock worker experience

  • Experience in high-volume warehouse settings
