Job Title: Machining Operator – Water Spider 
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, the Machining Operator will support warehouse operations including equipment operation, inventory replenishment and distribution, order picking and packing, and processing all inbound and outbound shipments. This role is responsible for accurate material handling, documentation, and supporting shipping/receiving activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and power tools

  • Move materials between receiving, storage, and production areas as assigned

  • Prepare outbound shipments using appropriate packing methods and 3rd party delivery services

  • Allocate inventory to proper rack/shelf based on predetermined criteria (size, type, code, etc.)

  • Assist with weekly cycle counts to support inventory accuracy and integrity

  • Use internal computer systems to track inventory, shipments, and perform assigned tasks

  • Receive and unpack deliveries; report and manage shipment damages or discrepancies

  • Prepare bills of lading and process freight documentation; obtain shipment signatures as required

  • May support hazardous material handling and document preparation, create barcodes, and follow safety/document procedures as directed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum six (6) months of material handling experience

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This position requires handling technical data subject to U.S. Government export laws; only U.S. Persons (citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals) may apply. Proof of status required.

  • Capable of frequent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and extended periods of standing or sitting

  • Willing and able to work overtime, including occasional weekends

  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience operating power tools, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.

  • Familiarity with bar code scanners, inventory databases, and warehouse equipment

  • Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and high self-motivation

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with computerized shop floor tools is a plus
