Job Posting: Manufacturing Operator – Wash Machine Operator 
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

About the Role
Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing Operator (Wash Machine Operator) for our Parsippany, NJ facility. This contingent position offers a dynamic environment and the opportunity to contribute to our production operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Blow all holes in buckets and nozzles to clear residue inside

  • Load and wash all blown parts in part washer

  • Fill out all BOT related to each part and each work order

  • Maintain tools and measuring instruments supplied by the company

  • Uphold company production and quality standards

  • Report unusual problems or conditions to supervisor

  • Follow company safety rules and regulations

  • Perform other similar or related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)

  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts

  • Comfort with wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes

  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

  • U.S. Persons only: U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals (certain refugees and asylees) as required by U.S. Government export regulations (GE will require proof of status prior to employment)

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated

  • High ethical standards and integrity

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong reading comprehension skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions for multiple assembly tasks

  • Effective communication and follow-up skills

  • Comfortable using computerized shop floor tools

  • Team-oriented with flexibility to move between different areas

  • Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision
