Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$19.50 per hour
Shift 2nd shift 3pm-11pm

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Performing pre-operation safety checks on machines and work area
- Conducting safety inspections for individual machines and associated equipment
- Assembling conical bit bodies, brazing material, and carbide tips
- Operating braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levels
- Inspecting parts to meet established ISO quality requirements
- Supporting change-overs to meet production due dates
- Tracking material usage and problem-solving to reduce costs
- Managing inventory of WIP and components, performing cycle counts as specified
- Participating in lean events and utilizing lean processes in daily duties
- Completing daily TPM and 5S activities for work area
- Gathering and posting established production metrics
- Accurately and promptly recording required production and quality data
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment (preferred)
- Are familiar with safety procedures and ISO quality standards
- Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Are comfortable working on a 3rd shift schedule
- Can perform physical tasks and operate production machinery efficiently
- Are a team player with a commitment to meeting production goals
