Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Technician  to support Conagra, a packaged foods company, in Indianapolis, IN (46268). 


Pay: $24.55/hr
Schedule: 3rd Shift
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Contract: 9-months


Summary of Role

Perform component, packaging, information, process and product quality checks to ensure company objectives and customer expectations are met. Act as a role model for safety and encourage fellow employees to work in a safe manner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive quality checks on finished products, components, and raw materials using a variety of test methods and equipment.

  • Inspect and measure visual and physical product attributes (registration, print appearance, web width, UPC scan, glue weights, etc.) to ensure adherence to company and customer standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of all quality checks, lab tests, and test results; complete reports as assigned.

  • Communicate effectively with line operators and supervisors regarding quality issues, process improvements, and non-conformances.

  • Model and contribute to a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment by following PPE policies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping to train backup quality technicians.

Must-Have Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read/write English and effectively communicate with production teams

  • Proficiency in using measurement tools (tape measure, fractions) and performing basic arithmetic functions

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform testing requiring up to 90 pounds of push/pull force

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and willingness to work in a culture of continuous improvement
