Internal Auditor | Strategic Operations & Compliance
We are seeking a continuous improvement-minded Internal Auditor to join our team. You will support risk-based assignments, financial and operational audits, and process reviews to improve company governance and transparency.
– Work Schedule: Mon to Fri, 40hrs/week (4 days in office / 1 day remote)
– Hourly rate: 35$-40$
– Contract: W2 contract under staffing supplier, with 6-month duration (possible conversion according to performance)
Essential Functions

Audit Execution: Plan and perform risk-based testing, document workpapers, and support data analysis for audit observations.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units to identify risks, evaluate process improvements, and resolve identified issues.

Reporting: Draft clear, concise audit scopes and reports for management.

Strategy: Assist in annual audit planning and provide guidance to associates on basic procedures.

Special Projects: Utilize automated analysis tools and lead investigations as business needs arise.
Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required); MBA, CPA, or CIA a plus.

Experience: 3+yoe years in audit, accounting, compliance, or QA. Public accounting required. Utility industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP, IDEA, Tableau, or TeamMate+ is highly valued.

Core Abilities: Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
