Pay Rate: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shifts available: 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday                             Evenings start at 5pm and Days start at 6:30 am

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Loading stock into bar feeders for screw machines
  

• Starting and stopping machine cycles as required
  

• Monitoring machine operation for tool wear or breakage
  

• Performing basic measurements using calipers and micrometers
  

• Replacing simple inserts or drills and clearing basic jams
  

• Carrying out routine lubrication and cleaning of equipment
  

• Measuring and entering data for SPC analysis and communicating with higher-level operators when needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience or interest in machine operation or manufacturing environments
  

• Are able to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and stooping
  

• Possess basic mechanical aptitude and can use calipers or micrometers
  

• Have strong attention to detail and can follow safety protocols, including use of PPE (safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)
