- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls across all accounting processes
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to leadership
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to support operational and financial decision-making
- Lead implementation and oversight of a Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS) model with third-party providers
- Establish and optimize financial processes, systems, and integrations to improve efficiency and scalability
- Support compliance efforts and maintain adherence to accounting standards and internal policies
- Build forecasts, models, and reporting tools to support planning and business growth
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
- Hands-on experience working with external partners or Finance-as-a-Service models
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in transportation, logistics, or other asset-heavy industries
- Experience with ERP and financial systems such as Sage Intacct, BlackLine, Bill, or SAP
- Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and processes
- Familiarity with fleet operations, cost structures, or route profitability
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, hands-on finance professional who thrives in building and improving processes
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and accountability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- A strategic thinker who can also execute at a tactical level
- Someone comfortable working in ambiguity and driving structure and clarity
Why This Role?
This is a high-impact opportunity to help build the financial backbone of a rapidly scaling organization. You’ll work alongside strong leadership, influence key decisions, and have the autonomy to design and improve processes from the ground up.
