Kelly is hiring a Forklift Operator to work on the docks for a nationwide leader in temperature-controlled shipping and Warehouse Services.

$23.00 Per Hour

Monday – Friday 4 pm – 12 am & Sundays 12 pm – 4 or 5 pm

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  

• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
  

• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  

• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
  

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  

• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
  

• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.

 Requirements:

• At least 3 months’ forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
  

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  

• Ability to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
  

• Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

 Physical Requirements:

• May frequently stand on your feet.
  

• The employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 50lbs.
  

• Occasionally lift up to 65 lbs. with team lifting and/or use the provided lift equipment.
  

• The employee must have the capability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and your whole body bending, crouching, climbing steps and ladders, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching..
