Location: Middletown, PA
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm EST
Hybrid: 5 days in-office initially; reduced to 1 day in-office weekly once fully trained
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Support Specialist for a hybrid role based in Middletown, PA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality administrative and contractual support for government rated orders, working closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, and Accounts Receivable. This role will begin with full-time onsite training and transition to a mostly remote schedule, requiring local candidates only.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review government rated orders (annual March–February cycle) for applicable FAR/DFAR clauses; accurately tag, summarize, and document contractual obligations.
- Interpret contractual requirements in collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams; advise internal stakeholders on liability exposure.
- Identify and communicate duty free entry and tariff-related risks to leadership; create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
- Assist in developing future state Duty Free Entry processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation.
- Track, report, and support reconciliation of tariff charges; partner with Accounts Receivable to resolve outstanding or unpaid tariffs in SAP.
- Contribute to audits, collections support, and process improvements involving documentation, clause identification, and reporting workflows.
- Work independently to review and analyze high volumes of data and contractual language efficiently and accurately.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and interpret complex contractual language and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR clauses and U.S. government contracting a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and dashboard/reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to commute to Middletown, PA for in-office work (local candidates only).
