Senior Process Engineer
Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Northeast Georgia (Onsite)
Compensation: $125K–$145K
Overview
A pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process optimization, technology transfer, and validation activities. This role serves as a technical SME supporting manufacturing operations and new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Execute and support tech transfer into GMP manufacturing
- Author and review validation protocols and reports
- Utilize DoE and data analysis to improve processes
- Support manufacturing floor activities and investigations
- Lead deviation, CAPA, and change control efforts
- Support regulatory submissions and inspections
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5–10+ years in pharmaceutical process engineering
- Experience with tech transfer and process validation
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory expectations
- Experience with DoE, statistical tools, and root cause analysis
- Hands-on manufacturing support experience required
- CDMO or pharma manufacturing background preferred
