  • Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:50 PM – 1:30 AM


  • Pay Rate: $25.65/hour


  • Employment Type: Contract (48 months)


? What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structural parts and components, including control cables, linkages, landing gear, engines, doors, and associated hardware, ensuring precise alignment and operation.

  • Remove, replace, cut, and fit system lines and structural components to facilitate basic repairs, always adhering to specifications and operational requirements.

  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations by checking own work for defects, performing necessary rework, and confirming conformity before final inspection.

  • Install system lines, valves, ducts, and associated hardware, working to deliver leak-free systems and defect-free assemblies.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records related to installations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and 5S procedures to keep workspaces clean and compliant.

? What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

Must-Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of aerospace/aviation or equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.), or A&P license in lieu of experience

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Proficiency with common tools and equipment (wrenches, cutting tools, dies, permaswage pumps, etc.)

  • Physical ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice-to-Haves

  • Solumina and Smarteam experience

  • Basic experience in drilling, reaming, and ship fitting parts

  • Demonstrated support for continuous improvement/Lean practices

  • Participation in flight tests and aircraft certification phases

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining logs and supporting FOD and 5S programs
