Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Coordinator for a leading food manufacturing facility!

This full-time role offers $20.25/hr and involves ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are consistently met across production operations.

Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: 12 months Contract
Hours: 40 hours/week | 1st Shift


Job Summary:

As a Quality Coordinator, you will support the Quality team by monitoring food safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring all production processes meet regulatory and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily record reviews to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards

  • Conduct daily food sensory evaluations

  • Manage quality and food safety production holds and product releases

  • Deliver food safety and quality training to team members

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve out-of-specification issues

  • Conduct routine audits of HACCP documentation and processes

  • Collect microbiological swab samples for testing

  • Perform pre-operational line inspections

  • Provide guidance to QA technicians, team managers, and line leads

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work within a multi-climate manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in food production or packaging industry preferred

  • Working knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP programs

  • Familiarity with SAP systems

  • Understanding of FDA regulations

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
