Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Coordinator for a leading food manufacturing facility!
This full-time role offers $20.25/hr and involves ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are consistently met across production operations.
Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: 12 months Contract
Hours: 40 hours/week | 1st Shift
Job Summary:
As a Quality Coordinator, you will support the Quality team by monitoring food safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring all production processes meet regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily record reviews to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Conduct daily food sensory evaluations
- Manage quality and food safety production holds and product releases
- Deliver food safety and quality training to team members
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve out-of-specification issues
- Conduct routine audits of HACCP documentation and processes
- Collect microbiological swab samples for testing
- Perform pre-operational line inspections
- Provide guidance to QA technicians, team managers, and line leads
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work within a multi-climate manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in food production or packaging industry preferred
- Working knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP programs
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- Understanding of FDA regulations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
