Customer Service Representative
Location: Amherst, OH 
Pay:$20 an hour 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring timely and accurate communication between internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer requests received via phone, email, and electronic systems
Accurately create and manage quotations, sales orders, returns, and other transactions in SAP
Provide updates on order status, inventory availability, delivery timelines, and pricing
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and resolve customer inquiries
Utilize case management systems to track, update, and complete assigned tasks
Maintain a professional and positive approach when interacting with customers and colleagues
Identify opportunities to improve processes and daily workflows
Meet performance standards and metrics established by leadership
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or office environment
Experience with accounts receivable, collections, or customer communications preferred
SAP (ECC) experience preferred
Experience with case management systems is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Customer-focused mindset
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in computer systems and data entry
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Work Environment & Schedule
Office-based position
Full-time, Monday through Friday
Schedule options:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Business casual dress code (clean, non-ripped jeans permitted)
