Maintenance Technician (Afternoon/Evening Shift)
Schedule: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (flexible) Training Start Time: 4:00 AM Pay Range: $25–$45 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our food processing and packaging operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical abilities, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast?paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Operate at an apprentice level while learning all plant equipment

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS system

  • Follow all safety standards, SOPs, quality guidelines, and HACCP regulations

  • Support continuous improvement and minimize equipment downtime

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience in a food or beverage plant

  • 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems

  • Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Ability to use trade tools safely and correctly

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs intermittently

  • Strong decision?making skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
