Injection Molding Operator – Slitting & Lamination
? Northlake, IL
? $21.50/hour
? Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Overview:
SIG/Scholle IPN is hiring experienced Injection Molding Operators to run lamination and slitting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have hands-on experience, strong mechanical skills, and attention to quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor lamination and slitting machines
- Perform machine setups, startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers
- Adjust temperature, pressure, speed, and alignment
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality standards
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform minor repairs
- Load/unload materials using hoists or forklifts
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety and LOTO procedures
- Meet production quotas and output rates
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of lamination/slitting or related manufacturing experience
- Experience with adhesive and/or thermal lamination
- Knowledge of plastic films, paper, foil, or similar materials
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting with variable noise
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts
