Kelly Services is hiring a Machine Operator (Flash Grind Operator) in Winsted, CT!
Join a precision manufacturing environment where you’ll operate grinding and flashing equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in a production setting.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate flashers and grinding equipment
- Process parts to specifications including cleaning and counting
- Perform in-process inspections including dimensional and visual checks
- Complete hot etch inspections and maintain etch room organization
- Record production data on routers and process logs
- Monitor coolant levels and maintain grinding systems
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
- Identify and report nonconforming parts or equipment issues
What You’ll Bring
- Machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with grinding, metal finishing, or similar processes a plus
- Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust equipment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | Full-Time
- $22.50/hr | Weekly Pay
- Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
