Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift | $22.50/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Paid Training

Looking for a reliable overnight role with competitive pay and career growth? We’re hiring Material Handler / Forklift Operators to support a fast-paced, safety-focused food manufacturing team in Macedon, NY. This is a temp-to-hire position with potential for long-term employment based on performance.

No prior experience with our facility is required — training and recertification for your forklift license are provided on site.

Pay & Schedule:

  • $22.50 per hour

  • 3rd Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 12:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Mandatory weekend overtime as needed (48-hour notice)

 What You’ll Do:

  • Safely operate walk-behind stackers and other material handling equipment in close-quarters, high-traffic areas

  • Receive, transfer, stage, and move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

  • Wrap, label, and inspect finished products to ensure quality

  • Use SAP to process inventory transactions (transfers, issues, returns, adjustments)

  • Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and 5S standards

  • Inspect equipment and report any deficiencies

  • Communicate with supervisors and line leads to support daily production needs

  • Support inventory control, plant cleanliness, and general warehouse operations

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

  • Comfortable operating equipment in tight spaces with pedestrian traffic

  • Forklift license required; recertification provided on site if you do not have one

  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)

  • Team-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be 18 years or older
