Location: Stafford, TX
Pay Rate: $28-32/hr.
Shift: Mon-Fri | 7:30am-3:30pm

What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Support Specialist? You’ll be:
- Coordinating movement of materials, consumables, and equipment into GMP cleanroom environments in alignment with manufacturing schedules
- Performing cleaning and disinfection of materials prior to cleanroom ingress according to site procedures and environmental classification requirements
- Staging and preparing materials in controlled corridors or transfer areas to support efficient delivery to manufacturing suites
- Supporting material egress, including transfer of samples, waste, and completed product materials from cleanrooms
- Responding to urgent material requests from manufacturing teams to minimize production delays
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of material transfer areas, supply corridors, and staging spaces
- Coordinating sample logistics and tracking between Manufacturing, QC, and other operational groups
- Facilitating waste removal and material returns from cleanroom environments in accordance with safety and GMP procedures
- Assisting with material kitting, staging, and replenishment to support manufacturing operations
- Maintaining accurate GMP documentation for material movements and logistics activities
- Communicating material shortages, discrepancies, or logistics issues to Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams
- Executing all activities in accordance with cGMP, safety policies, and site quality systems
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or related discipline, OR equivalent industry experience
- Possess 2+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or another GMP-regulated environment
- Are familiar with GMP documentation practices and quality system requirements
- Can follow cleanroom procedures and controlled environment protocols, including gowning requirements
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Can manage time-sensitive material requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Preferred: Experience supporting cell therapy, gene therapy, or other advanced therapy manufacturing operations
- Preferred: Experience working in or supporting cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments
- Preferred: Familiarity with material transfer, wipe-down, and sanitization procedures for cleanroom ingress
- Preferred: Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Preferred: Experience coordinating sample logistics between manufacturing and QC laboratories
- Preferred: Knowledge of GMP material flow and production support processes
