Lab Platform/Infrastructure Support Technician
Chandler, Arizona
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
Pay rate starts $26/hr W2
Benefits (medical, dental, vision) + paid time off
Key Responsibilities:
- Rack & stack (data center / lab skills)
- OS configuration and hardware troubleshooting
- Asset tracking across multiple sites
- Physical lab support
- Platform support, upgrades, and reclaims
- Delivery of platforms to developers with proper FW/BIOS/OS pre-configuration
- Support platform upgrades, repairs, replacements, and reworks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot all components (FW, BIOS, HW, SW)
- Maintain multiple platform segments (Server, desktop, mobile, tablet)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Seeking strong hardware troubleshooting skills, experience with Firmware/BIOS and Linux.
- Experience with Linux and Windows OS (installation, navigation, troubleshooting)
- Basic experience setting up networks, switches, cabling, KVMs, and PDUs
- Installing firmware/system driver updates
- Extensive knowledge of PC and server hardware; ability to upgrade systems and install customer add-in hardware
- Minimum of a HS diploma or GED required
- Strong communication skills (email, phone, SDP Support Center/client Service Cloud)
- Ability to interact with Enabling Platform Services (EPS) customers
- Self-Transportation required between (Chandler to Ocotillo, AZ) no more than once a day travel – main site is Chandler.
