Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handling Specialist (Returns & Tool Room) in Farmington, CT!

This role supports spare parts operations with a primary focus on returns processing (75%) and tool room support (25%). You’ll be responsible for evaluating returned parts, managing inventory disposition, and supporting tool kit preparation for field service teams. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role requiring strong organization and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and evaluate returned parts, verifying against return documentation

  • Inspect parts for defects, usage, or misuse and determine proper disposition

  • Repackage and return parts to stock, vendors, or scrap as needed

  • Issue credits to customers and track vendor credits for returned items

  • Communicate with customers and vendors regarding return status and issues

  • Monitor return trends and report quality concerns to internal teams

  • Support tool room operations by preparing and maintaining tool kits

  • Create tool orders in SAP and assist with inventory tracking

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate returned products

  • Ability to work independently and stay organized with multiple tasks

  • Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Basic computer skills including Excel and Word required

  • Experience with SAP or inventory systems is a plus

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 9:00AM-5:30PM | Full-Time

  • $21.00-$22.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay

  • Long Term Temp
