Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$18.50 per hour
Days (12 hour shift, 5:45am – 6:00pm) 2-2-3 schedule; Temp to Hire

What’s a typical day as a Packaging Machine Operator? You’ll be:

  • Spotting outbound trucks into material load docks and ensuring proper use of dock-locks for safety

  • Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loose fill and refeeding material to the production forehearth

  • Placing bags on bagger equipment snouts to ensure proper packaging of finished materials

  • Performing general cleanup duties, including sweeping floors, cleaning production lines, and break rooms

  • Supporting Preventative Maintenance processes and assisting with special projects as directed by plant staff

  • Actively participating in safety and housekeeping programs established within the facility

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)

  • Are available to work 12-hour day shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule

  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

  • Are willing to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning and assisting with maintenance
