Job Opportunity: Office Assistant

seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Lumberton, TX. This is a Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time position perfect for an experienced administrative professional who excels at precision and efficiency.


Position Overview

  • Job Title: Office Assistant (Internal: Order Entry Specialist)


  • Location: Lumberton, Texas (On-site)


  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour


  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire


  • Schedule: Standard business hours

    Key Responsibilities

  • Precision Data Entry: Perform low-volume data entry with an expected accuracy of 5,000 to 8,000 keystrokes per hour.


  • Database Management: Access and maintain computer databases, ensuring all information is current and correct.


  • Document Preparation: Format and produce documents, including envelopes, labels, form letters, and general correspondence.


  • Electronic Filing: Manage electronic files through printing, copying, transferring, and deleting as required.


  • Quality Control: Proactively detect and correct data errors to maintain high-quality records.


  • Office Support: Utilize standard office equipment (photocopy machines, fax machines, binding equipment) and provide general administrative support.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.


  • Experience: Experienced (Non-Manager) level with a strong background in administrative or front desk roles.


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.


  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex instructions and catch minor errors.
