Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $14 per hour

What’s a typical day as Machinist? You’ll be:
- Working directly from basic drawings, verbal instructions, or sketches to fabricate basic machine parts from raw stock.
- Modifying existing parts under assistance and guidance.
- Operating conventional machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and cylindrical grinders.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with your team and reporting to the shop supervisor or lead.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Are a Technical School Graduate or hold an Associate Degree in Tool & Die Maker (preferred), or have equivalent experience.
- Have three to five (3-5) years of experience operating lathe, milling, surface grinder, and cylindrical grinders.
- Can read and interpret basic drawings and sketches, and follow verbal instructions.
- Are committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
