Job details
Job title: Fork lift Operator
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84104
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: USD 20 - 22/hr
Contract: 6 months contract.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of forklift operation experience
• Previous experience working in an outdoor industrial environment
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, yard trucks, or yard tractors
• Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries
• Move materials between storage areas, loading docks, trucks, and warehouse locations
• Position trailers and trucks for loading and unloading activities
• Operate yard trucks or tractors within the yard or distribution center
• Inspect forklifts, trailers, and equipment to ensure safe operation
• Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain efficient yard operations
• Assist with general yard organization and minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures while working outdoors
