Join Our Team as a Sewing Machine Operator!

At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re excited to welcome Sewing Machine Operators to our growing team at an industrial filter production facility in Lima, NY. We’re here to help you find the right opportunity—and support you every step of the way!

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (Temp-to-Hire)

Available Shifts:

  • A Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday

  • B Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday
    Training takes place on A Shift (1–2 weeks, if available).

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play an important part in creating high-quality products. Your day may include:

  • Operating industrial sewing machines to process filter materials

  • Assembling components by following clear instructions and patterns

  • Performing quality checks to ensure strong, durable stitching and assembly

  • Using sewing tools and equipment to complete your work

  • Assisting with moving, loading, and organizing materials as needed

What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy hands-on, active work

  • Have basic reading and math skills

  • Are comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Are open to learning and training in different departments (Slitting, Cores, Pleating)

  • Can wear required PPE and obtain steel/composite toe shoes after hire
