Targeted salary range: $95,000 – $130,000

Client is open to assisting with relocation assistance.

Kelly Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engineering, design, and fabrication of automated machinery

  • Develop machine drawings, 3D modeling, assembly and detail drawings.

  • Manage projects from quote to FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

  • Interface with manufacturing to ensure parts are properly fabricated, machined, and assembled. This will include updating revisions to mechanical design specifications/drawings.

  • Interface with assembly department to conduct machine testing and proper operation.

  • Interface with other departments e.g., controls, parts, purchasing, etc., to coordinate work/projects and ensure customer on-time delivery.

  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials.

What You’ll Need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in developing, designing, and implementing new product designs of automated machinery

  • Experience using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks.
