Assembler – Durham, NC
Pay: $19.00per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
Location: Durham, NC

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Durham, NC. This role is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts, components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, full assemblies, or completed units. Using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and various equipment, the Assembler ensures all products meet quality, tolerance, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and fabricated components according to specifications

  • Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment safely and effectively

  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet required tolerances

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair units that do not meet quality standards

  • Follow well-defined work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of materials

  • Perform tasks in accordance with quality and production standards

  • Make decisions within established rules and processes

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures

  • Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks as needed

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work well on a team
