Pay Rate: $47.00 per hour (2-year CONTRACT)
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30 pm to 11 pm, Monday afternoon through Friday evenings, Approximately 45 hours per week, overtime likely, some weekends/holidays
What’s a typical day as Maintenance Supervisor? You’ll be:
- Supervising semi to highly skilled production and/or maintenance employees on an assigned shift to meet departmental goals
- Acting as the first-line liaison between production employees and management, representing company interests
- Establishing an environment of open communication, feedback, and guidance
- Ensuring personnel have proper training, instructions, and tools to perform their jobs
- Monitoring control plans, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring products meet quality standards
- Administering employee policies, practices, and work rules
- Assigning daily tasks, filling vacancies, and scheduling overtime based on production needs
- Planning for equipment and facility maintenance to maximize uptime
- Directing and participating in continuous improvement activities
- Implementing and monitoring safety programs and housekeeping standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 1+ years of production/manufacturing supervisory experience
- Hold a 2-year technical degree or have equivalent experience
- Are comfortable leading hourly employees in a factory environment and spending at least 50% of your day on the shop floor
- Are proficient in MS Office, including Excel
- Possess excellent communication and people management skills
- Have experience in planning, estimating work, and have technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or tool and die processes
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and eligible for in-person interviews
- Are able to wear safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection from day one
- Are comfortable driving shop floor vehicles (e.g., Gator) after completing safety training
- SAP experience is preferred
