Production Associate – Hicksville, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30pm–4:00am (Some weekends may be required)
Location: Hicksville, NY
Position Type: 3 months contract, Full time
Are you seeking a hands-on job with steady hours? Join our production team! We’re looking for reliable, motivated associates to help us meet production goals and uphold quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Move products in and out of chillers (38°F) – jackets provided
- Wear personal protective equipment (lab coat, helmet, safety glasses, shoe covers, earplugs)
- Help lift up to 50 lbs with a team member
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Able to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable working in cold and/or noisy environments and wearing PPE
- Able to perform frequent physical activity (walking, bending, lifting, twisting, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Previous food industry experience is a plus
