Kelly Services has partnered with one of our clients in the ingredients and specialty chemical solutions industry to recruit for a Bilingual Logistics & Distribution Associate to join their team. If you have experience in distribution, warehouse, or logistics operations and are looking for your next opportunity, read on!

Location: Dorval
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40hr/week)
Pay Rate: $24-25/hr
Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform safe handling, order picking, receiving, put?away, and shipping transactions

  • Follow shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency

  • Collaborating with different departments such as Customer Service, Replenishment, Sales, third party carriers and suppliers to ensure efficient and accurate operations

  • Print and organize pick tickets; monitor system orders to plan picking, staging, and loading

  • Conduct inventory counts and maintain shipping supplies

  • Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment compliant with food safety, hygiene, quality, and HACCP standards

  • Comply with health and safety policies, attend required training, and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Previous experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment

  • Must be bilingual in French and English (communication with customers in both languages required)

  • Must have strong computer skills

  • Forklift and Reach Truck License required or willing to obtain (training provided on site!)

Responsabilités :

  • Effectuer les opérations de manutention, de préparation des commandes, de réception, de mise en stock et d’expédition en toute sécurité

  • Respecter les procédures d’expédition, de réception et d’entreposage afin de garantir la sécurité, la qualité et l’efficacité

  • Collaborer avec différents services, tels que le service client, le réapprovisionnement, les ventes, les transporteurs tiers et les fournisseurs, afin d’assurer l’efficacité et la précision des opérations

  • Imprimer et classer les tickets de préparation ; suivre les commandes dans le système pour planifier la préparation, la mise en attente et le chargement

  • Effectuer les inventaires et gérer les fournitures d’expédition

  • Maintenir un environnement d’entrepôt propre et sécurisé, conforme aux normes de sécurité alimentaire, d’hygiène, de qualité et HACCP

  • Respecter les politiques de santé et de sécurité, suivre les formations requises et accomplir d’autres tâches selon les besoins

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires

  • Expérience dans le domaine de la distribution, de l’entreposage ou de la logistique

  • Doit être bilingue en français et en anglais (la communication avec les clients dans ces deux langues est obligatoire)

  • Doit posséder de solides compétences informatiques

  • Permis de conduite de chariot élévateur et de chariot à mât rétractable requis ou prêt à l’obtenir (formation offerte sur place !)
