A growing manufacturing organization expanding operations. With recent growth and a merger, the company is scaling quickly and investing in strong HR leadership to support a workforce of 100+ employees.
Position Overview
Seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead and build out the HR function. This is a high-impact, standalone role with future opportunity to grow the department and add direct reports.
This role will oversee all HR operations, partner with leadership, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all HR functions across a growing workforce (100+ employees; 50–60 hourly)
- Oversee employee relations and ensure a compliant, positive work environment
- Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment
- Administer FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave tracking
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, labor laws, and government regulations
- Chair the Safety Committee and oversee safety initiatives
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training programs (including compliance training)
- Maintain HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and reporting
- Partner with leadership on performance management and development
- Assist as backup for payroll processing
- Prepare and submit required government reports (EEO-1, AAP, etc.)
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of HR management experience (manufacturing industry experience required)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience with benefits, employee relations, and performance management
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
- Government reporting or contract experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
