We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Coordinator to support our client’s equipment and operations team in Dartmouth, NS. This role is responsible for managing equipment orders, coordinating logistics and installations, maintaining inventory records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
Please note: this is a full time permanent position, with benefits after 3 months probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage all equipment orders from internal teams and external customers
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and up-to-date customer records
- Determine the most efficient and cost-effective sources for equipment procurement
- Verify incoming shipments and stage equipment for delivery or installation
- Coordinate equipment installations with the Service Department, Sales team, and customers
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, credits, and returns
- Maintain and update vendor price lists and equipment files
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Support day-to-day operations and complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in logistics, operations, or a similar role preferred
- Strong computer skills, including experience with accounting or ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
