Put your customer service and problem-solving skills to work with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES), DBME Division. We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative to support public assistance programs in Surprise, AZ.

?? What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Representative? You will:
? Assist customers in person and by phone with questions about SNAP, AHCCCS, TANF, and other services.
? Record and maintain accurate customer interaction logs and case updates.
? Research and resolve service or billing issues using policies and procedures.
? Complete applications, address changes, and service-related forms.
? Process payments, deposits, and basic financial transactions.
? Reconcile cash and prepare daily deposits.
? Escalate complex or unresolved concerns to appropriate departments.
?? Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

? This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Strong customer service experience in high-volume environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
High attention to detail with data entry and documentation.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
