What’s a typical day as A&P Mechanic? You’ll be:

  • Performing detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of aircraft parts and components.

  • Conducting operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions or failures on aircraft systems such as equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.

  • Participating in flight tests and logging required work.

  • Interfacing with customers for delivery, preparing for delivery inspection, and resolving customer-discovered issues.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a minimum of six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience, with hands-on helicopter experience required.

  • Possess a current FAA A&P license OR can qualify for a Repairman Certificate (requires 18 months of maintenance experience on manufactured helicopters).

  • Have Safran Turbomeca engine experience (preferred but not required).

  • Demonstrate general knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.

  • Are a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR regulations (e.g., U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or person covered under an ITAR license).
