Put your customer service and problem-solving skills to work with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES), DBME Division. We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative to support public assistance programs in Sierra Vista, AZ.

?? What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Representative? You will:
? Assist residents with questions about SNAP, Medicaid (AHCCCS), and cash assistance programs.
? Process applications, eligibility updates, and case documentation.
? Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
? Investigate and resolve service or eligibility-related issues.
? Enter and update information in government case management systems.
? Refer complex cases to appropriate departments when needed.
? Perform basic transaction support and reconciliation when applicable.
? Communicate case status updates clearly and professionally to customers.
? This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Strong customer service or call center experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in sensitive situations.
Basic data entry and computer system skills.
Experience working with high-volume inquiries or case-based work.
Attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.

High-volume government office supporting public assistance programs.
Frequent interaction with individuals in need of social services support.
Structured workflows with compliance and policy-based decision making.
Combination of phone, in-person, and computer-based case handling.
