Fleet Maintenance Specialist
Location: 3101 S Packerland Dr, Green Bay, WI 54313
Work Model: On-Site
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (3rd Shift)
Pay: $20–$22/hour
Reports to: Kristin Thomas (ThomasK5@schneider.com | 920-357-3473)
Target Start Date: April 6, 2026
Target End Date: July 1, 2026

Job Overview:
Schneider is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Specialist to support our drivers when equipment issues or breakdowns occur. In this role, you will serve as a key contact, providing guidance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring our fleet remains safe and compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to calls and messages from drivers regarding truck and trailer issues

  • Provide troubleshooting and temporary solutions while following DOT regulations

  • Diagnose breakdowns and coordinate repairs and diagnostics with external vendors

  • Review and approve detailed repair estimates

  • Create and update work orders and track repair status

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in diesel technology preferred, not required

  • Minimum 1 year of diesel or automotive repair experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
