This Business Analyst role focuses on bridging the gap between project management and operational execution for non-IT projects. The position requires a mix of financial oversight, vendor management, and process documentation.
Location: 100% on-site, Houston TX 77002
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 40hrs weekly
Pay rate: 35$-48$ per hour
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (possible extension according to performance)
Core Function
Acting as a high-level individual contributor, you will support project managers by maintaining vendor relationships and overseeing the logistical and financial health of business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Tracking budgets, monitoring expenditures, and forecasting potential overruns with proposed solutions.

Project Infrastructure: Setting up work breakdown structures (WBS) and documenting standardized business processes.

Communication & Data: Managing the flow of information across business units and maintaining project metrics and records.

Contract Oversight: Reviewing legal and cost proposals, including supplements and contracts.
Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years in a similar analytical or project support role.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word; experience with Enterprise Applications (ERPs) is preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, strategic planning knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
