$18 – $20 Based on Experience
Monday – Friday 7 am – 4: 30 pm

OBJECTIVE
The Material Handler ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution. This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the position. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively, and efficiently decreases accidents and errors and increase profits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Print labels to order

  • Pull product from shelf using a forklift of various types

  • Prepare for shipping (i.e. shrink wrap, apply labels, identify)

  • Maintain general housekeeping in and around individual work area & assigned areas

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Basic computer

  • Use of RF Guns

  • Required to stand for long periods of time

  • May involve some repetitive motions – bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers

  • Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs.

  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold

  • Must have ability to read and write instructions

  • High School Diploma/GED

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Proficient on a Tow Motor

  • 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment

  • Basic math

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. 

  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit. 

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
