Logistics Analyst I
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
May require after-hours or weekend support.
Pay Rate: $25.92/hour
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial trucks or machinery within warehouses, storage yards, factories, construction sites, or similar environments.
- Responsible for safely moving product loads around the facility.
- Inspect product loads for accuracy; ensure timely and complete delivery.
- Drive vehicles and operate lifting devices (such as forklifts and hoists) to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes—manually or mechanically—and secure items for transport.
- Exercise moderate independent judgment, with direction from a supervisor.
Must Haves:
- Previous experience in logistics/transportation, preferably in air and small parcel shipping.
- Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Suite, particularly:
- Excel: Knowledge of frequently used formulas.
- Outlook: Effective communication.
- PowerPoint: Ability to create and lead recurring reviews with freight forwarders.
- Excel: Knowledge of frequently used formulas.
- Self-driven, strong problem-solving abilities, clear communicator, and able to work independently.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates with completed degrees are preferred, but a degree is not required.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of logistics/transportation experience preferred.
- 2–4 years of manufacturing experience is preferred for some positions.
