Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator
Location: Oakville, Ontario
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Our customer is looking for a permanent Logistics Operations Coordinator who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a team environment while taking ownership of their work.
The Logistics Operations Coordinator will be responsible for order entry and input, managing logistics, and providing excellent customer service. Orders will primarily come from sales personnel, and the ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication throughout the supply chain process. This role requires someone who is organized, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and works well independently while collaborating with the team to achieve shared goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter and process orders received from sales personnel and customers accurately into MS Dynamics or ERP systems.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Communicate with internal teams, including warehouse, shipping, and procurement, to track and fulfill orders.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email or phone, providing updates and resolving issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of order details, shipments, and inventory movements.
- Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all order input, reporting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and support organizational goals.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and quick learning.
- Support continuous process improvement to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, order entry, supply chain, or customer service.
- Proficient in MS Dynamics, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timely execution.
- Friendly, collaborative, and dedicated to team success.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French is an asset).
