We’re seeking a Shipping Clerk to work at a premier manufacturing facility in North Minneapolis, Minnesota 55430. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21.93 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

What’s a typical day as Shipping Clerk? You’ll be:
- Leading daily processes related to Shipping and Receiving at the plant
- Safely navigating the shipping yard while handling Owens Corning products
- Utilizing SAP to enter and print shipping information efficiently
- Checking in trucks and completing PGI transactions for trucks leaving
- Maintaining standard housekeeping of the warehouse and lift trucks
- Ensuring a safe workplace at all times
- Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED and are at least 18 years old (Must Have)
- Are able to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision (Must Have)
- Are motivated to learn and advance within the organization (Preferred)
- Have experience in manufacturing (Preferred, but not required)
- Can climb and descend stairs or ladders as needed
- Are comfortable doing repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg, bending/twisting at the waist, bending at the knee, squatting; lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs)
- Can withstand exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels in a manufacturing environment
- Can handle, control, and feel raw materials and finished goods
