Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for operating production equipment and assembling components into machined valve bodies. This role includes hands-on assembly, machine operation, quality checks, and material handling to support a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
In addition, you may also assist with washing, deburring, packing, and replenishing parts while maintaining accurate production and quality records.
Pay & Shifts
- 1st Shift: $16.50/hr.
- 2nd Shift: $17.50/hr.
- 3rd Shift: $17.00/hr.
- Overtime available
What You’ll Do
- Operate assembly and production machinery
- Load and unload small automotive parts weighing 6 – 8lbs.
- Assemble components into machined valve bodies
- Perform visual and quality inspections
- Use gauges, micrometers, and measuring tools
- Reset machine faults and assist with changeovers
- Track counts, Lot control, and Quality data
- Pack parts into dunnage and move materials using pallet jacks
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
What We’re Looking For (required):
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable with repetitive motion, standing, bending, and lifting
Preferred (not required):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or assembly experience
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with quality inspection, SPC, or Lot control
Physical Requirements
- Standing up to 8 hours per shift
- Lift up to 6-8 lbs. continuously; 10-15 lbs. occasionally
- Repetitive hand and arm movement
- Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work safely around machinery
- Wear Safety shoes, ESD straps, and protective equipment
