We’re seeking a Logistics Specialist to work at a premier manufacturing client in Burlington, Ontario. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.85/hr CAD

Shift: Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

This role is actively reviewing and recruiting to fill the opening

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Inspecting, receiving, and safely storing incoming materials, cards, collateral, and supplies according to logistics and quality procedures

  • Following security protocols for receiving and shipping goods, including controlling vault access

  • Accurately performing inventory transactions in the ERP system and generating required records and paperwork

  • Handling daily mailing duties, including sorting, packing, tracking, and dispatching mail and related documents

  • Investigating and resolving shipping, receiving, mailing, and card issuing issues as needed, escalating to management when appropriate

  • Operating material handling equipment and forklift (training provided) and participating in daily inventory management

  • Supporting team harmony, HSE and 5S initiatives, and reporting unsafe acts or security violations

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong math skills (required)

  • Are comfortable with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus

  • Possess a strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and are detail-oriented

  • Are organized, have a sense of urgency, and can make sound decisions

  • Can work independently and as part of a team, with good references and work history

  • Are able to operate (or willing to be trained to operate) material handling equipment and a forklift

  • Can lift up to 50 lbs daily
