Job Title: Order Picker Driver (Cherry Picker)
Location: Greensboro, NC 27409, USA
Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $19.24/hour
Training Pay Rate: $17.18/hour (during 1st shift training period) 2 weeks
Assignment Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Position Summary
The Order Picker Driver is responsible for accurately retrieving and staging materials using a cherry picker in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily equipment inspections prior to operation
- Operate a cherry picker (order picker) to retrieve products from warehouse locations
- Use RF scanning equipment to verify product codes, quantities, and locations
- Accurately pick and stage orders for packing and shipping
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of cherry picker (order picker) experience required
- Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and operating material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
