Job Title: Shipper/Receiver (Order Picker)
Location: Greensboro, NC 27409, USA
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.18/hour
Position Summary
The Shipper/Receiver (Order Picker) is responsible for accurately retrieving, verifying, and staging materials for shipment using a cherry picker. This role plays a key part in warehouse operations by ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and with a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Perform daily inspections of equipment prior to use
- Operate a cherry picker (order picker) to retrieve products from warehouse locations
- Use RF scanning equipment to verify product codes, quantities, and locations
- Accurately pick and stage orders for packing and shipping
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned work areas
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of cherry picker (order picker) experience required
- Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to work at heights and operate material handling equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
